About this event

Hilarity for Charity Recognitions is a two-part recognition event for the Secondary and Postsecondary/Collegiate divisions, sponsored by Hilarity for Charity, an Alzheimer's organization and HOSA premier partner. Option A is individual: members complete the Brain Health courses on the HFCUniverse platform, earning Bronze for Brain Health 101, Silver for 101 and 201, and Gold for 101, 201 and 301. Option B is for chapters that start involvement in HFC's Youth Movement Against Alzheimer's, which promotes awareness, brain health habits and support for young caregivers. Hilarity for Charity tracks both options itself, so no HOSA upload is needed. Activity between June 1, 2026 and May 15, 2027 counts for ILC, where members (Option A) or a chapter representative (Option B) receive a certificate at the recognition reception; pins are no longer given and medals are not awarded. The same Brain Health 101 and 201 courses are required for every member of a Public Service Announcement team this year.
