Introduction to Retail & Merchandising

Foundational retail concepts for 9th-10th graders: merchandising, customer service, and store operations.

About this event

Introduction to Retail & Merchandising is the 9th-10th grade entry point to the retail events. It covers the basics of how stores operate: merchandising and visual display, inventory and stock basics, customer service fundamentals, pricing and markdowns, and point-of-sale operations. It is the natural lead-in to the full Retail Management event.
